Whenever Helen travelled back to Africa and her home country Ethiopia, she has had several women pleading for her to bring them American Brand Lipsticks with many of them offering to pay 2-3 times the price. In addition, Helen learned that some even pay expensive prices for counterfeited products due to the huge lack of supply.
Therefore, having Africa as the first location to open the first Helaz Beauty Store was particularly important to Helen because the brand itself was inspired to serve the needs of beautiful African women by making it accessible to all. Those who are paying expensive prices for counterfeit products that affect their health and knocks their pockets while aiding the expansion of counterfeit products producers who unfortunately push these products to vulnerable consumers.
